Hi Everyone
This is our brand new bulletin format. We are now using Canva, a great online tool that makes this job just so much easier. We also think it looks a whole lot better. Hope you like it too!
You can still get a pdf copy of it if you prefer but the great advantage of the online version is we can update things even after publishing! A genuine benefit when our Club has so many things happening and there can often be late changes to the schedule.
Another benefit of online is the whole bulletin is easier to navigate whether you are on a computer or on a mobile device.
We do hope it works for you. Let us know your thoughts and any tweaks we can make for it to be even better.
Yours in Rotary

Corporate Membership opening new doors for Port
Guests: kerrie attenborough-bourke, jolyon good & joanne mallard
Directors Reports:
Malcolm displayed and distributed used battery collection packs. A great initiative that will help in many ways!
Di handed out the gongs to our Bowling Night winners
A great time was had by everyone at the launch of the Sports Awards. The Mayor Peta Pinson and a range of young sporting stars were there. Luckily a Rotarian DIDN'T win the raffle prize....2 hours training with Riley Batt sounded a bit tough!
Planning for the 2023 calendar is well underway. The committee is looking for photographers so let Lea know of any budding Lord Snowdens

Bonfire Night
Special thanks to Peter and Sandra for not only being outstanding hosts for the 50 or 60 of us who attended, but for the extensive preparation and the donation of a bottle of port and a chainsaw as prizes for the raffle. In addition, Peter also arranged for and sponsored the excellent duo Spiral Time who entertained us all evening with mostly country music style songs.
Thanks to Pam who organised and then ran the raffle with Lea’s help on the night. As well as the bottle of port and the chainsaw, we had bottles of wine (donated by Di Hicks I believe) and a number of plants (donated by ex-member and past president Nik Sandeman Allen and his wife Roberta). A very healthy profit of $420 was made from the raffle.
The final thank you goes to Lea and Jodie for the fabulous range of sweet delicacies which capped off a most enjoyable night.
Sunrise at Work Pt 1
Mrs Yorks Garden and ticket-collecting at the Stadium kept some of our members busy last Sunday.
At the Stadium Tony, Grant, Rob and Steven enjoyed a less physical day but raised over $380 for their day's work of greeting and taking payments
John & Malcolm worked up a sweat toting and digging. Malcolm described John's effort similar to a mountain goat, scaling the steep slopes, distributing wood chip. Funds donated at our Giving Breakfast were used at this event.
Sunrise at Work Pt 2
Our Club sponsored six SCAS students to attend Luminosity at the Glasshouse. There was another stellar list of speakers including Allison Langdon, Dr Karl and Dan Flynn creator of Thank You water and Tim Silverwood from Ocean Impace and previously Take 3 for the Sea.
Sunrise stalwart Sue Jogever who has been connected with the event for ten years said last week's effort was one of the best with over 450 young people from 15-25 years in attendance.
Sunrise representatives: Samantha Aguilar, Aarohi Deshmukh, Brianna Hosemans, Georgia Stanfield-Welsh, Charlotte Welsh and Millicent Wilson
